What I've been doing the last week:
That's the inside of my desktop computer. I upgraded it with a brand new SSD (because my last SSD lost performance due to saving and loading too many DS comic pages...)
. A Solid State Drive
is made of memory cells that are protected by a plastic shell. It's completely silent, extremely fast and has the size of your palm. Hard drives (HDD) on the other hand are slow, bulky and contain spinning disks that have to be read by a mechanical needle, small LP-record on steroids much? :U
Aside from installing that SSD I sorted out the cables, reinstalled Windows and cleaned the chassis from dust. Yeah you should do that at least once a month to your dear desktop or laptop. Dust makes everything warm and in turn you get a super slow computer - so grab a can of compressed air, open the chassis and start spraying. NEVER use a vacuum cleaner btw, that'll kill your piece of technology...
I'll continue to install software and tweak the OS to my needs. I'll be back to art within a few days!
