Hmm I see. If Etrius is 42...the General obviously must be older than 50......I was guessing70 XD

I was part of the marines not long ago, the oldest guys I saw were around 50 - 60. As you get older you can't be part of active duty, but you may still be a good strategist. A funny thing is that somebody of the same age can have a much higher grade and be your boss. In fact, they could be younger. There's no rule stopping young soldiers from ranking up.

That was a piece of reality

So even if Etrius is 42 he may not have the same grade and authority as The General. But then again, I'm not the creator of Castle, I make things up when there's no information available. Would actually be good if Etrius was 37 or something... *cough* I should shut up now : D
